A hidden gem in the upper east side decently priced compared to the $100+ places that dominate the area. The French onion soup seems to be a crowd favorite, and it definitely lives up to the hype. Very flavorful and not too salty. We got the roasted chicken for the second time in a row, and the cobb salad and latke were pretty good. The place overall was very homey and the service very warm.
Was longing for meatloaf during our visit to New York and found this hidden gem tucked away in one of the alleys. Sergio our server was friendly and service was great. Food was good, maybe not how I thought meat would be but it was great and loved the flavors.
My food was EXTREMELY AVERAGE yet TREMENDOUSLY OVERPRICED!!! It was TWENTY-FIVE dollars for bland meatloaf that comes with NO SIDES! I ordered mashed potatoes & corn to complete the meal at a HEAFTY price and the potatoes were bland and tasted boxed and watery not fresh creamy buttery at all!
