Beautiful authentic northern Italian cuisine just like nonno and nonna used to make it. The atmosphere is cosy and feels like you stepped back in time. Romano and the waiters are amazing and nothing is too much.
My girlfriend and I went here for dinner one Sat night since we both live on the UES and had a very enjoyable evening. Italian is our favorite and Nicola's did not disappoint on any level. The food was good, the service attentive, a crowded room - all very good and we recommend if you're looking for the same.

Very premium experience. Feels like a local spot for regulars, as well as friendly for newcomers. The experience starts with them, taking your coat at the door, something you don’t see too often anymore.Upon sitting, there was a bread basket at my table, with a block of butter and a variety of breads and crackers.
