Today was my last visit to this deli, which I’ve always enjoyed for its great food. Unfortunately, my experience today took an unpleasant turn due to a misunderstanding about adding sausage to my omelette. I politely approached a staff member—possibly the owner—just to clarify and offer to pay for the addition. Instead of helping, he responded by yelling at me with an unexpectedly harsh attitude. He threw out my food and kept raising his voice, turning a simple request into a distressing scene. Writing this review isn’t something I do lightly, but I felt compelled to share my experience. I wasn’t looking to place blame—just to enjoy a meal with a simple request fulfilled.

They have upped their prices to high for the quality of food
Old school, local deli! In midtown, places like Homefront are few and far between nowadays. The decor and prices are from the 1980s but the food is delicious! The guys behind the counter will make you a perfect sandwich, exactly how you want it. Forget the overgrown lunch spots around the corner and go to this joint, instead.
