Every time we visit NYC or Jersey City, we make sure to stop by at Honest to eat and take away a lot of food back home. Usually our spot is the Honest on Indian St in NJ. But I was so happy to find this one on Bleecker St. After a show in town hall I placed an order online for pickup. The store front looks small but they have good seating space inside. Just keep in mind if your order includes Pizza, the wait time will be longer. I ordered 2-honest special pizza, 1-Amul cheese bhaji pav, 1-Amul cheese pulav, 1-Bombay chaat. The food was yum. I wish the wait time wasn’t so long but it is understandable given their small kitchen size. The food was worth the wait.

Love this spot! Just came across it passing on Bleecker st. Glad I chose to stop in as the food is delicious. You may have to wait for the food a little while but that’s totally fine with me as they use fresh ingredients and no processing which makes it not only delicious but healthier for you. Hope to see you flourish into different boroughs.

I ordered the combo - pav bhaji, samosa and cardamom coffee. All was delicious. It came with 2 sauces - mint and tamarind. They also added a sautéed pepper. Very nice lunch. Music was good as well. I could see this being a nice hangout
I had really bad experience on 12 nov , I will try before so many time and I get good food that’s why I trust on this restaurant , but this one is my last order from them I never come back, trust me my stomach was really upset and I m in struggle, on that day I’m working and my stomach was really bad, I’m so disappointed

We visit NYC every year but this was our first visit to this restaurant. Great experience. We were greeted by Niki ( Niyukta?) very warmly with a smile. So a good start. Such smail things more important to me than even the food. I saw a beer named Rupee which interested me, so we added a can to our order comprising of Bhel, Chinese bhel, samosa chat and dahi poori. The 2 bhel were good but the samosa chaat and dahi poori was outstanding. The Rupee beer was terrific and came in a signature Rupee glass. Best part was the manager Parth was very accommodating to my request and, of course, noticed all the servers seemed happy working here. Maybe a reflection of the manager Parth. Now Honest restaurant will be added to our annual visit to NYC.

I had a really bad experience when i ordered pani puri and toofani sandwich today on 6 December. Pani puri did not had any masala, and pani was smelling like it had chillies only.. no salt and no taste. Toofani sandwich used to be good few weeks earlier but now they have changed the preparation.. they must be using some liquid like cheese or mayonnaise which is of very bad taste. Totally disappointed this time. I have ordered from here many times since last two years. I think I won’t be ordering again from here.
