My daughter and I were big, big fans of the mushroom broth! We added chicken, beef, tofu, egg and even more mushrooms to it and enjoyed it over white rice.
Service was excellent and we were able to be accommodated without a reservation.

We got way more food than we could even finish, and believe me, we both have pretty big appetites! The variety and portions were super generous. The shrimp and lotus root stood out for me, with their perfect texture and flavor, but honestly, everything we had was delicious. The soup bases, especially the tomato and the special mala tang, were bursting with flavor and really set the tone for the meal.
What impressed me just as much as the food, though, was the service. The staff were incredibly attentive, taking the time to carefully explain each dish and even going the extra mile to make us personalized dipping sauce mixes. You could really tell they care about their customers having a great experience.
Overall, it’s safe to say this has quickly become my favorite hot pot spot in the city! Between the high-quality food, thoughtful service, and overall experience, it’s definitely a place I’ll be coming back to again and again. Highly recommended!

The pig blood curd smelled and tasted spoiled. The waiter tried to tell us that's how it's supposed to taste like. Thankfully he took it off the bill. The broths were pretty good and they refilled the broths frequently. It's pretty expensive and the portions are small, even for Manhattan. At this price point, I would rather go to Dolar Shop.

I don’t understand how this place is a 4.7 rating..unless there’s a hefty discount for leaving a review. I was asked midway through eating to leave a review but just ignored it.
The combo was $68 pre-tax, which was fine, but that doesn’t include the $20 for broth, which you fine out after you’ve already placed the food order and they come around. Okay whatever, not real transparent practice.
Then some fruit comes that I didn’t ask for, seemed like a nice free offering, definitely didn’t need it.
Then the bill comes, I’m charged for the fruit and the tip has already been selected for me.
This is the first time I can remember leaving a restaurant feeling like they really tried pulling one over on customers.
I don’t imagine this restaurant will still be here a year from now.
