It’s a beer hall, a little upscale, in a solid area.

I came here after dinner for a few beers. It was early on a Friday night but the place was already packed. I couldn't find a spot at the bar to sit or any of the tables so I just stood off out of people's way. I saw someone who sort of looked like Kyle Mooney but I'm pretty sure it wasn't him. They have lawn games to play inside. As it's an old warehouse, there's enough space. Overall a place with good vibes.

We recently hosted our company holiday party at Houston Hall, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The planning process was seamless, and the execution exceeded our expectations. Our more than 200 guests loved the space, the food, and the overall ambiance. We look forward to hosting future events at Houston Hall.

Houston Hall is one of the best spots for a fun, laid-back night with a great crowd. The space is huge and beautifully designed, with different areas that keep the energy flowing without feeling overwhelming. The beer selection is massive, cocktails are solid, and the food is surprisingly good for the size of the place. Whether you’re going with friends, on a casual date, or just stopping by for drinks, it always delivers a good vibe. Friendly staff, great music, and a consistently fun atmosphere make Houston Hall a go-to spot

We just hosted our corporate holiday party at Houston Hall and every guest loved it. The space is amazing, the food was great and the staff was incredible. From my initial inquiry until the last moment of our event, Carlita was making sure we were happy and supported. I cannot say enough great things about them. Highly recommended and have been telling all my colleagues about them! You will not be disappointed.

Houston Hall was a great spot for my company's holiday party, the food, drinks and service were on point! The high ceilings give the main room feel even more spacious, which was great for our big crowd. The private events team made our party planning smooth and fun! Overall great experience, highly recommend for your next private event.

Unexpected game night. Table reservations were weird... a lot reserved with people not showing up. Was encouraged to reserve on OpenTable to force one to become available for us. Seemed like a step I shouldn't have had to take. Was given a different beer than I order but ended up with a freebie as a correction. Can't go wrong with that. Decent trivia but don't move at a pace that kept my table as engaged as they could have been in the game Fun overall, big place, wasn't overcrowded but was still pretty full. I'd go back

Waited on the line for over an hour and got kicked off the line for a blatant double standard. The security guard let all the white girls cut the line to get in, but when it came time to let us in, and we had a friend meeting us, we got sent to the back of the line—after all tge white girls got in. The security guard was black and picking favorites. Absolutely disgusting if you ask me. I wont be going back

I went there for happy hour, and had beer with a few coworkers of mine. Our company had setup reservations to eat there, however, we were forcibly moved from our seats upon the arrival of another unnamed company. While some level of communication would be needed for situations like this, the staff was rude to us, and in fact grabbed our personal items without our consent in order to have us removed from table.

How can 15$ be cheap beer?

I had a really disappointing experience here. I paid for a table in advance with classmates from my Executive MBA cohort, but when I arrived security wouldn’t let me in because I forgot my ID. I completely understand the ID policy, but what made it worse was that even a photo of my id did not help, since they “needed a physical ID”.

Also I tried to ask for staff to help since my classmates were already seated inside and there was no help to resolve the situation… they did not even answer the phone when trying to call. I never actually got inside. I was told to go home and get my physical ID.

Felt like a total waste of money and time. Won’t ever be coming back. Ever…

Houston Hall was one of the bars I visited during my short stay in New York. It has a llarge beer hall with rustic, cavernous atmosphere, communal long tables, and a good selection of craft beers. The food and beer tasted great. It jas an excellent happy hour, and a lively vibe that's perfect for watching sports or socializing with groups...though the service can be a little bit slow so you have to go to the bar yourself
