Owner was very rude upon entry and dismissive when I asked about the price of the bagel. He did not wear gloves to prepare bagel which I found to be unsanitary. He shooed me away with his hands when I asked him his name. I found this to be disrespectful.Do not recommend patronizing this place of business. The place is also not well kept and looks unclean/grundgy.0% customer service, go to Sofias kitchen 2 blocks away for a better experience and homemade bagels.

Want a dozen bagels? Go somewhere else. Waited 10 minutes for fresh bagels to be told I could not buy a dozen which is a standard amount.

Ive lived in NYC my entire life, The prices were normal for the AREA yet expensive for the quality. I ordered a poppy seed bagel with cinnamon raisin cream cheese. There were ACTUAL like chunks of cinnamon powder ON the cream cheese, didnt even Bother to mix it with the cream cheese. This is ghetto & not something i would expect to see in WEST VILLAGE. 5$ is not normal for a bagel like this.

This is my favorite daily bagel stop. The owners are kind and the bagels are great. It’s perfect to stop in for a quick bagel before work!

Good option for getting some authentic NY bagels. Loved that the spread did not overwhelm the texture of the bagels.

This bagel is disgusting, it even smelled bad. They were low in stock of all bagels and the plain looked and tasted like cardboard. Nice man but awful bagel. Don't go here for a New York bagel.

This was the worst bagel i have ever tried, would not reccomend

Really bad. Opened late, didn’t have what I wanted and just all around a pretty bad bagel. I only leave these reviews when I feel moved, and I felt moved.

The bagels aren’t very good quality. Ordered a smoothie and they just used Tropicana orange juice and yogurt and premade smoothie mix. No fresh fruit. $15 and I could have gotten better across the street from dunkin.
Worst bagel in NYC. The location is very dirty and I regret stopping here. Idk how they can make a bacon egg and cheese taste bad - but congratulations, they figured it out.

Perfectly toasted and perfect amount of cream cheese. Deeeeelicious

I *think* I would have liked to have tried their bagels, especially since I walked out of my way to get there, but I wanted a dozen and they told me they couldn't sell me that many because they needed them for lunch (this was at 10am). They suggested I come back another day. Um, no. I went to Murray's and got my dozen.

Stopped here to try a bacon and egg bagel with no cheese. I agree with another reviewer who mentioned the staff turned up the music a little too loud. Prices were decent, but they reflect the quality. The bagel we got was flat and not made by someone who knows how to rise dough and bake it. The photo I took shows the inside of the bagel where there is no rise and totally compressed. Making it look underbaked and mushy in texture. The bagel sandwich: Dry with plain scrambled eggs and no extra flavor or condiments. The condiment shelf did offer salt pepper packets and vinegar in a bottle. On the positive side, there are a lot of other things to try on the menu such as wraps, sandwiches and smoothies! And maybe 1 in 5 people will get that really good sandwich that seems worth the visit.
