The cost seems appropriate for what's provided. Initially, restaurant workers show remarkable attention. The food impressed me beyond my predictions. This restaurant has gained my loyal patronage. This place defines excellence in dining.

Pre-movie ritual done right at Dos Toros!
I’ve been to Dos Toros at Hudson Eats many times, and it never disappoints. Yesterday, we stopped by before heading to the movies and had an amazing meal. The chicken tacos were loaded with toppings—vinegar onions, lettuce, corn, sour cream, guacamole, cheese, and crunchy chips. So fresh and flavorful!
We also ordered a chicken quesadilla, but with all the extras we added, it looked more like a burrito (no complaints!). It was huge—three of us shared it and were totally satisfied.
Even with a long line, service was quick and efficient. Dos Toros is always a solid choice, especially when you need something delicious before catching a film.

Hudson Eats - From a Culinary Gem to a Fading Memory
Back in 2017-2019, Hudson Eats was truly a gem of New York’s food scene. It was a food hall filled with every type of high-quality cuisine you could imagine, bustling with people and brimming with gourmet options. It was a go-to spot, a food court elevated with all kinds of upscale, curated food choices. I remember vividly one of the best burgers I ever had there in 2019—a meal that stayed with me and made me eager to return for that same experience.
However, my recent visit was a disappointment. The vibrant atmosphere has faded, and the once-packed counters now seem quiet and sparse. Many of the mini-markets and stalls have closed down, leaving a noticeable gap in the variety and quality of options. The steak section, once filled with a rich assortment of cuts and dishes, now feels empty. Even the burger that I remembered so fondly has lost its charm, tasting lackluster compared to the memory.
Seeing Hudson Eats change like this is disheartening. What was once a hub of excitement and top-tier flavors now feels like a shadow of its former self. It’s sad to see such a once-thriving spot lose its appeal.

This is a really nice place to eat! The food court inside offers a lot of good affordable food: bagels, Mexican, salad bowls, ect. It also has lots off nice seating next to the windows. Outside there are some charming restaurants along with additional seating as shown in the pictures. ( The pictures don’t do it justice)I very much recommend this place when eating out with friends!
