Based on other reviews, made a res for 4 persons. Last minute addition of 2 people was cause for a call to restaurant, which took 20 minutes to change table size and the restaurant was only 70% full!! Food was distinctly average, with a few glimmers of hope from selected apps. Service was inattentive, and poor. Value was average at best, disappointed, expected more based on reputation.

My pasta with shrimp was described lavishly on the menu but was like steam table pasta and red sauce from a corner pizzeria. Disappointing. My guest said his soup and salmon were good, so it was a mixed experience. Service fine from a waiter with pigtails. The interior is nice but lacks windows.

Was excited to dine at Hudson Yards Grill and try their infamous $30 burger. Unfortunately, the burger lacked flavor although it was quite large and the bacon was fatty. However, service was excellent and restaurant was quite nice.
My family made a reservation to have a nice evening out in NYC Made a reservation at Hudsin Yarfs Grill. We were conple6looking forward to it but to our dismay it was an absolute disappointment! Reservation was for 6pm. We were ready to order at 7pm which was our decision. We ordered the Shrimp Cocktail abd Shishito Peppers which were pretty good. Our female server was not enthusiastic at all. Maybe she had a long night of not being invested in her job or maybe did not care to ensure to work for her earned tips The appetizers cane out within a reasonable time. Great! We were hungry. We never saw our entrees and our server was busy doing Roll-ups. At 8pm our patience had escalated to impatience, annoyance, hunger and then on our quest to find other dining options. I asked her to cancel our order. Unapologetic. No remorse. We were flabbergasted. Manager in a cowboy fedora pranced over to merely say our food is coming. No apologies . Zero !!!! We still tipped. Our awful experience could have been saved by a mere apology by server and the cowboy manager. Check was dropped. Luckily there was not a door to open because it would have hit us on the way out. Our evening ended happily at shake shack we loved it!!!

Very dis-interested service, no sauces available for a $58 steak, the wine glasses were still dirty and clearly not wiped after being in the washer. Just not very good at all and definitely wouldn't recommend this place. For NYE in NYC it was very disappointing.
The menu and prices online are not accurate. The menu is much more limited and prices are significantly higher. We ordered oysters which were actually pretty good however they don't have any crackers. Also the $30 chicken sandwich was small and the fries were cold but the $10 onion rings were very good.

I won't be back. Service was great. Wine was good and the ambiance was great. But the food was extremely sub par. And considering there 10,000 places in NYC (midtown alone) where you can get decent food, it wasn't worth it. It's a tourist trap, but if that's your thing then maybe you'll enjoy it

Calamari didn't have taste. edamame was soggy. Salmon was just ok. Vibe was weird - unsure what it wants to be. Granted, it's a restaurant in a mall. But could be better.

It was a nice place, great atmosphere minus the gaggle of kids next to us, tis the season lol. The food was great also. I love that they start you off with either Aqua Panna or San pellegrino while you look over the menu because water should be a given and not requested, in my opinion. I loved the pumpkin spice margaritas. The beet salad with goat cheese was delicious.I loved how they added this lightly fried onion on top for a crunch, perfect. The deviled eggs were good. I had the rotisserie chicken with asparagus, mushrooms, and a green sauce, delicious. The key lime pie was everything it needed to be and more for me.

So the ambiance of the restaurant was great. Service was quick and efficient. The food was mid, and croutons were too oily for the salads. My steak was cold, idk why but, bad days happen. I understand. Overall great experience though.
Awesome bar experience. New and great appetizers! Bartender was great and food was quick. Onion rings and deviled eggs were fantastic.

Our server was amazing once he started (bartender!) but it took 35 mins after we sat down to get any service. For a 6pm reservation and 715pm exit due to a show at MSG the hostess responded upon flagging / OUR first interaction, “I can't promise when you'll get service.” ALWAYS A HOUSTONS FAN THOUGH.

The good and service were great. The French fries were the perfect crispness and not to oily and my vegan burger was delicious. The sides were a bit small for the price and the overall price was high for non-premium ingredients but I'm sure the location and demand impacts it. Overall, I would go again if I'm looking to splurge

We booked two tables for my daughter's 15th birthday. One table so her and her friends could dine together at a nice restaurant , and a second table for us (her parents and sister). Upon arrival we were denied the two separate tables and seated together. We were told “that's not what we do. We're booked so it's not possible.” However, we had early 5:30pm reservations and half the restaurant was empty the entire time were were there. My daughter was extremely disappointed on her birthday. There was absolutely no reason for this. Will not return.
