Hunan Slurp Bolognese Rice Noodle $19I walked past this store the other night and got attracted by their lighting. It’s such a cute restaurant. Love the vibe there. Good music taste and the volume was good (not too loud). In terms of taste, I've been craving rice noodles for the longest time! It's hard to find a good one in NYC, but this bowl of noodles satisfied my craving for that! The flavor is pretty rich and not too spicy as well (I wish it was more spicy though). One thing I would say, though, is the temperature of the food. The rice noodles and tofu were hot, but I think the meat was a cold dish, so it caused the whole bowl to cool down more quickly. But still, I will definitely go back??

I think the Lu Fen is nice and has good flavors, and it was quite a big bowl. The other dishes were quite average with the tofu dish particularly salty and I definitely had to eat it with some rice. Only the Lu Fen was a little bit spicy. The ordering system was a bit confusing - you scan and check the menu on your phone (which also allows ordering) but the online ordering doesn’t work. Overall service was fine.

The must go restaurant for a satisfying rice noodle bowl! The spicy rice noodle with beef, cucumber, scallions and nuts is very delicious. Every dish is yummy! Love the vibe too.

This place serves some the most fantastically sourced and prepared dishes in NYC - everything is literally amazing - simply sublime - and everything we tried (and it was A LOT) surpassed our (high) expectations. Go Here !!!

We enjoyed our dinner very much! I would say their Hunan-style dishes were not 100% traditional but slightly adjusted into a lighter taste. I guess this was the reason why I liked them in general.Besides the food, staff team was so nice and helpful. They served so well.?My favorite one was ✨✨✨salted egg fried with potato. The taste was rich but not too heavy. Potato was slightly crunchy but soft. The rice noodles with no soup was delicious as well. Again, rich flavor but not overwhelming. (My friends liked the one in sour soup as well.)✨The bamboo fried with beef was also delicious. The garlic ribs was a little bit dry, kinda overcooked. The braised lamb was good but nothing special. It went well with rice tho.

I had a high expectation for this Michelin place but it didn’t quite meet my 5 star criteria. Mostly because several dishes we ordered were all too garlicky including the noodles (which I tried in every hunan restaurant and this was not the best for sure). Overall good tasting but the flavors and seasoning could be improved!

All the food was excellent. No bad picks. Service was just okay. The waiter brought us our food and was never seen again. Didn't get to order a drink.
