I was running errands around the city and stopped in for a bite and a drink. Sat at the bar with Johnathan and had a great time! Definitely recommended stopping by from some interesting cocktail options and if you need good service and conversation ask for John!

I come here on Mondays to play and listen to old-time music. Vibes are great, staff are super friendly, and the music is killer.

I’ve come here a few times. The first time had a good experience. But the last time I came a few months ago by myself to just unwind and have a beer. Overheard the bartender mock me to another couple sitting on the other side of the bar. Grabbed the check and crossed this place off my list of places I’ll ever give business to again.

Had a really uncomfortable experience at Idaho recently. One of the owners, Jake, was clearly intoxicated—slurring his words and stumbling around the bar like he was the one being served. At one point, after misgendering me (multiple times, despite being corrected), he had a loud outburst that left everyone around visibly uncomfortable. It was bizarre and honestly kind of humiliating.
It’s one thing to deal with a drunk patron, but when the owner behaves like that? Says a lot about the culture of the place. Won’t be coming back—and I’d recommend others think twice too. Plenty of other bars in NYC that know how to treat people with a shred of decency.

Ordered two drinks, first time was charged for a premium drink when I ordered a “margarita,” usually meaning a house drink ($14) unless top shelf liquor is specified ($18). Interestingly my receipt read that I was charged for a Manhattan instead of a margarita. Even so, I figured maybe it was a mistake. Then I ordered a cider and was over charged for that one as well. Bartender, not the owner, but just felt dishonest, really off-putting.
Great beer and friendly staff.
Very nice place to chill. Should try the Huckle berry lemonade. You will not find humble service in NYC. This is the place to be for a nice chilling evening.
