This is the kind of place that ought to pop into people's minds when they think of a proper New York dive bar. The music is ace, the beers and shots are cheap, the conviviality and conversation flows. Amy and Chris in particular are great bartenders.
For a place to talk to all and sundry or just to sit and have a quiet drink, you could do far worse than head here.

If you love drinking, you’re gonna love Iggy’s. My buddy and I went here the other day and holy moly did we indulge ourselves. The beer flowed freely and the conversations were good!!…until they weren’t.
