Truly would be 5 stars if they fixed the door. It slams so so loud every time someone walks in. My coffee (flat white) was actually really freakin good and clearly high quality.
But if you’re trying to have a conversation here, the door is actually a big bang every 5 seconds.
They have pastries (croissants, cookies, loaf, muffins) and matcha. They have breakfast tacos and other breakfast options (yogurt, overnight oats) - definitely some gluten free breakfast options.
There’s a small area to sit. One table for two and a bench/stool area.
They also have some cupcakes!
Plant milk is an extra $0.75.

Great spot! Avery is the man and most knowledgeable and passionate coffee person I’ve ever met. Great Devoción beans are used and also sold by the bag - bags come with a free cup of coffee!

Maybe one of the best matcha I’ve had in NYC

A visitor from North Carolina and went here every day for our stay in NYC. It was the same kind lady working (thinking she might be the owner) and loved the overall experience. Wish I took a picture of the fresh apple danish I had one day. A delight! The coffee was fresh and a good price point. Highly recommend for workers/locals around the area. And if you are in town staying nearby, look no further. You found your coffee shop.

I stumbled upon this small, cozy café, and I'm so glad I did! The lady working there was incredibly nice and truly helpful. Since I was traveling and wanted to use up the cash I had left, she patiently assisted me in sorting through my coins to match the bill. (I really don’t like dealing with coins!) But it was a little short to cover the bill. Just when I thought I’d have to pull out my card, she found a way to give me a little discount so I could avoid carrying those pesky coins with me!

That moment really made my day in New York! And, by the way, the coffee was fantastic—definitely a place worth visiting!

Service sucked. Both cashier and barista yapped about their personal lives while I waited for them to take my order. I was literally standing in front of them. Unprofessional and happily never coming back.

I liked their drip coffee.

Excellent coffee, impeccable vibes from the barista.

The drinks are overpriced as they are not of exceptional quality. The mochas here are decent, however. The baristas are notably friendlier than other competitors.

The Place: Cozy and small. May be too small for someone looking for a coffee and chill/work place as sitting is very limited. Simple and clean decoration.

The Coffee: ordered a medium latte which appeared to be a 12oz cup. What I got was a cappuccinoish drink. Much more foam than what a latte should have. Flavor was ok, couldn't taste much of the espresso which may be due to either a light-medium roast bean or maybe just 1 espresso shot was put in (did not see the making process)

We are staying at the Thompson down the block and husband went down to Inès to grab us a couple vanilla lattes. He said they were awesome and the coffee was yummy too.
