I’ve been on a waiting list for years now trying to get an apartment at Inwood Terrace,NYC. Now that my number is almost up I was suddenly removed from the list without notice. They claim they sent a letter to notify me but they never did. I did not receive anything and no one seems know anything. They’re not inclined to help either after allegedly one attempt to contact me. Illegal immigrants get more help than tax paying US citizens.
Interesting that it's called Inwood Terrace almost as if it's in Inwood. Someone tell that to the newcomers trying to call the area Fort George or Washington Heights. Also the cleanest sidewalk you'll find this side of Broadway. Unfortunately across the street from it and next to the MTA building are some of the dirtiest. These people work hard to make the space look great.
People are too scared to open the door
Sidewalks are always well-maintained, custodial workers are always outside organizing and cleaning up in front of the building. I am not a resident or a visitor of this building but I am a passerby, I am a local dog walker and I tend to notice clean sidewalks, I try to post information like this for people because people need to stop littering and dirtying our environments. Of course we need to give credit to those that are clean.
Yes it is a beautiful home in upper Manhattan and easily assessable by train and bus. Our custodial staff keeps the building and the outside clean and orderly. I love living here.
I live there!
