Have been here multiple times. Love all their ramen options. The Spicy tonkatsu is my favorite. For the appetizers, order the buns, they’re delicious. Reserve a table in advance for a good spot.

Located conveniently on the main street. Close to other amenities. Food was yummy and quantities were good. Easy to share.

Our Home

My family and I have been going to this specific location for at least a decade, and this most recent visit was the most disappointing experience. We felt robbed. EVERYTHING has changed. The rumbling you'd feel of the packed place is no more. The cooks were authentic and now it's all young people who don't care. The menu was scaled down more than ever before - the pork buns used to come in 3, then 2, now they're down to 1. We got 3 ramen, 3 pork buns and 3 SINGLE pieces of rib for over $250.

This place used to be packed with a line out the door, now it's so empty. Also, on top of all of this, we made a reservation - there were only a few people there the entire time we were there, but they sat us at a shared table. And the shared table consisted of 2 little kids yapping the whole time. It's not like the restaurant was filling or full, there were maybe 3-4 other groups there the entire time. The bathrooms used to be so beautiful, a piece of art, beautifully designed and maintained - and now they stink and are falling apart. This place has lost all of it's lore.

I was utterly disappointed in literally every aspect. That was definitely our last time going to Ippudo, which is heartbreaking to say. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone anymore - at least at this specific location (haven't been to the others).

Ramen girl here!! 🙋🏻‍♀️I can never forget my first experience visiting this place. Their ramen is the best I have had so far, my mouth waters just thinking about it. I had the ramen with a plum wine pairing, best combination which goes really well. I moved out of the tri-state region, but whenever I visit Ny, I make sure to visit this spot, to satisfy my cravings. 😋

My mom, sister and I have been to this place years ago and ordered the Ivan ramen, poached egg, shishito peppers, and buns. The food was wonderful, and the service was good. The atmosphere was busy because mealtime. The waiters were shouting out the orders and people were busy talking.

Great food, drinks are overpriced but it’s a fun setting.

Hands down the best ramen I’ve had in New York. Ippudo is a must-visit for anyone who loves Japanese food or is just looking for a warm, satisfying bowl of noodles. I ordered the Akamaru Modern and was blown away by the richness of the broth — deep, flavorful, and comforting. The pork belly was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the noodles had just the right bite. Service was outstanding, too. The staff greeted us warmly, explained the menu, and checked in several times without being overbearing. The atmosphere is lively but not overwhelming, with a sleek, modern Japanese aesthetic. It’s a great spot for a casual dinner with friends or even a solo meal at the counter. We had a short wait, but it moved quickly, and the food was well worth it. Ippudo has totally ruined other ramen places for me — it’s just that good.

Food is ok but way too expensive. I ended up paying $45 for a ramen that was slightly better than mediocre. Not worth it imo when there are other ramen places around.
