Should be a 4.5. I had fish and chips. OMG it was good. Light fish in a light crispy batter - no lingering heavy feeling with this meal.Service is friendly and on par with what you would expect of a classic, low-key pub. It was quiet on the night I visited, but that suited my mood. Loved the 80's mix and Billy Idol was perfect.Guinness on tap - classic pairing for fish and chips. Lots of good spirits at the bar - indulge!
We just had the best experience here! The food, service, and ambience was absolutely impeccable. We will come back and we recommend anyone curious to try it. We had some of the best food and drinks we've ever had here! I recommend the Cajun chicken, it was amazing! I had an old fashioned and Manhattan and oh man--I can't wait to come back for another round! Thank you Irish Punt, we love you.

Me and a couple friends came for a nightcap after working an event at the stock exchange. "Nightcap" turned into more than just one because the staff was so nice, and accommodating. Nice folks, nice selection. Definitely coming back next time im down that way. Nothing better than watching the staff cut off/kick out some hammered broker guy. We totally had their back if things got squirrelly.
