I’ve walked past Jackdaw for a couple days and decided that today would be the day I’ll try it out. Our server Jack quickly came and got our service. He was delightful and a pleasure to talk to. I will be back only because of his service and the christmas tree.

Jack was the best server I’ve had! I’m Irish and I’ve been missing home a lot during this time of year. My server Jack really brought the aspects of home (Ireland) and NYC. he was friendly and gave me the best recommendations. Thanks Jack!

Bar manager Mark sorted us out, went here after outdoors were closed and he sat us down and served us last closing time. As a fellow Celt, he phoned ahead to another bar (cafe maud) and sorted us a table. Ps few more toilets needed

I live around the corner so convenient spot for a quick drink! Loved the frozen lychee martini
While the service / food is generally good — DO NOT COME ON THE WEEKENDS. They have a DJ stand blasting music so loud the waitress can’t even hear the orders coming in. Asked hostess to move and put us right in front of said DJ (wonderful). Tons of places with comparable food + drinks and better vibes

Absolutely phenomenal bar! Had an extremely pleasant experience from start to finish, didn’t try any food but it all looked to die for! Our server Eoin was so helpful and friendly. Gave us plenty of tips and recommendations for our week long trip to New York. Service was impeccable and drinks were delicious, especially the lychee cocktail. Must also extend my gratitude to barman Cathal, we sat at the bar while awaiting the table and he was incredibly attentive. I couldn’t recommend this bar more. Cheap Guinness all day Sunday is a touch of class!

10s across the board. It is simple, quaint, affordable (especially at happy hour) April spritz are $10 which is the standard for the island of Manhattan @ Happy Hour but the vibe there seems so fresh and understated. Everyone there is so in their own world and.m seems like they can be a distant friend in another life. It sounds deep but I’m being honest. You feel comfortable even when sat near the dumpster around the corner with A/c water dripping. I have been back twice and will be back more. Glad we stumble upon this place and I hope they keep up the good service
