Really impressed by this little restaurant having walked by it for over a year. Was expecting a more traditional concept, but was pleasantly surprised by a fusion of traditional and haute cuisine. Think, Jean-George meets Korea.

the presentation of the food is beautiful and tastes even better than it looks. the staff seems to be very knowledgeable of the ingredients in every dish and they were very kind as well. this is my second time eating at Odre for the spring menu and somehow i just can’t stop being impressed by these dishes and the service. my favorite dishes are the scallop and strawberry salad, kimchi pie, and fish gui.
Odre is a really nice Korean restaurant that I feel is still a bit under the radar. It does not seem as widely known as some of the other upscale Korean restaurants in the city, but I actually think that makes it a good place to check out, especially if other popular spots are fully booked and you still want somewhere nice, polished, and thoughtfully done.
