I've heard about this spot at my job and when I heard that they sell oxtails, I had to go and try it out for lunch. Unfortunately, I had a late lunch and they had ran out of oxtails. I ended up getting the jerk chicken with maduro and salad. It was so good, especially when I tried the chicken with their sauce, which came in a packet. I had a cherry lemonade, which is now my favorite type of lemonade. I went again for lunch another time but this time at noon to ensure that I got a chance to order oxtail. I wasn't surprised that there was a long line since I've heard it's pretty popular and DJ Khaleed had recently gone to visit it and shared the moment on Instagram. I waited 15 minutes but it was worth it because the oxtails were amazing. They served me plenty of oxtail that I ended up saving some for dinner. I highly recommend this spot to anyone who likes jerk chicken or oxtail.

Best roasted chicken I've had in a while. Meat falls off the bone! They have other dishes to try / I'd like to try. Hope they're around for good, and if they have an actual brick and mortar in NYC I'm totally down to go. Happy eats!

I had it delivered. Chicken was good but a little dry. It was flavorful and smoked very well so I'd order again.

I thought it was kismet when I saw an Instagram ad for Jamrock Jerk, stepped outside hours later and saw their truck preparing fresh jerk chicken and pork at Cooper Square. I am currently going through a jerk chicken hyperfixation phase so I have eaten my fair share of the dish. The line was about 8 people deep and I waited probably for 15 minutes until it was my turn, so the turnover rate was quite speedy. I ordered the jerk chicken platter ($16) which comes with rice and peas, plantains, and a scoop of salad. I liked that the platter came with salad as I am always craving greens with my jerk chicken. However, this chicken did not come chopped (my personal preference) and it was bone dry. It was difficult to eat overall because the chicken lost a lot of flavor and moisture, and the jerk sauce tasted like sweet, watery barbecue sauce. Overall, a massive disappointment given the amount of positive reviews. I am hoping my experience was a fluke but I don't think I would want to return anytime soon.

IMMACULATE! I ordered from uber eats and almost passed away from how delicious it was. I got the chicken with mac and cheese and everything was spiced so well and the chicken was so moist. Most incredible meal I've ordered online. Give the chef my regards.

My favorite jerk chicken food truck. Every time I'm in Union Square and stumble upon Jamrock Jerk, I'm going to get food every time. I usually wait until I get home to warm it up and eat it because I hate eating on the go or while outside. Plus, I need to eat it with out any interruptions or distractions while I savor every bite ... check their website for locations. That jerk sauce is finger licking good...Ig:@Thefunfluencer

Most flavorful midtown lunch spot. The food is authentically Jamaican, well seasoned and delicious, and for a busy food truck they have a good system to serve you fast.

Only option in the area for Jerk meats.Only Sundays until October. The later on in the day, the drier and colder the meats are. It’s good enough, but not a destination.

Food was ok, service was slow. We had to wait extra long because the people working the stand were clearly serving some locals they knew before us (despite them being behind us in line). It wasn’t that busy either. Why have a line system if you’re just going to ignore it? Food was a little overpriced for jerk chicken too.
