Jane's was closed. As in permanently. We found out while we were en route sitting in 30 minutes of NY traffic while visiting from out of town. I wrote to Open Table to let them know and I've gotten no response. Not sure how a permanently closed restaurant made it onto their network AND I am being asked to review it as if we ate there...? Anyway, hopefully this will get someone's attention at Open Table so they can improve their listing accuracy, I hope others don't make reservations there too.

The staff was attentive, friendly and intuitive. We 3 friends enjoyed sharing a some appetizers during the happy hour --which was a good value. Unfortunately, the entrees were quite paltry and mediocre in taste.

Came for brunch and my friend and I both got eggs. Everything was bland. Overpriced and disappointing.

Came for Mother’s Day with my daughter and overall it was very good. Always love the lively atmosphere at Jane. The service was good but I feel like they forgot about us so we had to ask for it after 15 minutes of being finished. Service was not super attentive. As for food, my daughter’s fries were not crispy, they were soggy, and a few of the potatoes were barely cooked at all. I ordered a side of chicken sausage and that was a huge disappointment. I couldn’t eat it but waitress never inquired because she didn’t notice. The difference between good service and great service. I could’ve sent it back but I didn’t feel like going there on Mother’s Day.

I recently visited Jane's Restaurant for breakfast and had a mixed experience. Here's a detailed breakdown:Starters:Deviled Eggs: These were decent, but not particularly noteworthy.Honey Biscuits: These were a highlight! Light, fluffy, and with a touch of sweetness from the honey, they were a delicious way to start the meal.Main Course:Farmhouse Frittata: Unfortunately, this dish fell short of expectations. While it included all the classic ingredients - egg, ham, cheese, and breakfast potatoes - it lacked any real flavor. It desperately needed seasoning, and I found myself relying heavily on the salt and pepper shakers to bring some life to the dish.Drinks:Coffee: Thankfully, the coffee was good and provided a welcome pick-me-up.Overall:Jane's breakfast had its ups and downs. While the honey biscuits and coffee were good, the unseasoned frittata was a disappointment. If I were to return, I'd definitely give the biscuits another try, but I would hesitate to order the frittata again.

Haven’t had meal this bad in a while. The only thing edible is the fries, everything else is either overcooked/ undercooked or excessively salty. The crab cake is still frozen on the inside when served, completely unacceptable. You’re better off going to McDonald’s for brunch.

What a great place. We were lucky to arrive on Wednesday and they had a great happy hour menu in addition to their main menu. Our server Peter had us smiling at every interaction. Food was delicious, service was amazing, and overall setting and location was perfect

We came for an early dinner. The seating was immediate! And our waiter was super attentive. We tried the happy hour appetizers- calamari and the apple cider both were delish! I was afraid the calamari would be spicy but it was sweet and flavorful! For the main entree my mom had the half brick chicken and I shared a dish with my daughter the scallops over risotto. The scallops were so-so semi small. The chicken was very large and mom enjoyed the flavors of her dish. We took home half to our hotel later and ate it with ramen noodles. Very good. The price point for everything was $117 so pretty good for three people eating appetizer, drink, 2 dishes. And crème brûlée! Overall, we would definitely come back! I'd love to try their brunch though next time!

Sat at the bar and received excellent service. Greatly enjoyed the 'Jane' Benedict and Farmhouse popover.

Had a lovely time here last week with a friend of mine who’s loved this place for years. I totally see why! Great food and service, gorgeous inside and the only complaint was some of the other tables were loud but not terrible. The salads and small plates are great. Can’t wait to come back.

The food was good but definitely overpriced for what it is. Service was great, but I probably wouldn’t come back - there’s just other places you can get identical quality food for a better value.
