Another food joint that was not going to last long as the Chinese food was sub par overall. This location is bad luck as every business that has open here has last less then a year . Food was nothing to write home about as its typical Chinese Americanized fare but to be fair if I had to rate the VEGGIE dumplings with other places i would say it's just as good as any other place but the rest of the menu is below average as the chicken with mixed VEGGIES had very little chicken and too much bean sprouts which I will not get giddy about .our server had limited English skills which was not the issue , no my issue is she was never around much and another server took over without telling us why . With my yelp check in i got free pumpkin type dessert which I wish I never mentioned to server as it took 30 minutes to finally arrive at my table .I passed by a few weeks ago and I notice a new canopy sign with a new Chinese restaurant opening soon sign but I won't wait as sign had a grand opening date of March 1 2020. I guess the new owners got the info that the location is bad luck .

Was looking for a Chinese food place near me. Best general Tso’s chicken I’ve tasted in a while. The fried rice was on point too!

Went out on a walking venture in our PJ's more or less after we had to leave our hotel room for some maintenance and stopped by this restaurant on the way back to our room at lunch time.....we felt rather out of place in this classy Chinese style restaurant, but our server was very kind and attentive and the food was terrific! I ordered pan fried noodles and veggies and my husband got crispy beef and rice! YUM!!!

I don't think this place is Shanghainese or maybe not anymore. It's an American Chinese food place. Nice atmosphere.

My first impression of the place was cozy and clean. The food was OUTSTANDING. We ordered chef’s specials: double sautéed fresh bacon and spicy stewed fish, recommended by the staff there. The fish dish smelled so good the minute the waiter put it on the table and it tasted to perfection, very flavorful, not salty, a little spicy, and it just melted in my mouth. It was the best dish I’ve ever had! The quantity was big but I couldn’t believe it that we finished it all. It’s the authentic Chinese flavor that I can only get in China. Definitely come back for more and will recommend to all my friends. The staff were friendly. Great experience! Thank you!

Didn't really know what to eat so I walked out my hotel and stumble along this Chinese restaurant. I dined alone and felt comfortable doing so. There were plenty of waiters tending to your needs. I ordered the generals tso chicken with accompanied with white jasmine rice. It was nothing special, the sauce was on the sticky dice. Overall great for lunch on the rush.

Wonderful authentic Chinese restaurant on the East side of midtown Manhattan. The atmosphere and staff were wonderful. My future wife and her children loved it. The food was exceptional. Great place to eat, and their prices are great as well.

Me and my husband fell upon this restaurant while out walking. This is by far the best Chinese I've ever had! The beef fried rice most certainly!

Had dinner with a coworker here last week. I had fried rice and spicy boiled beef. The portions were massive and delicious. Just the right amount of spicy flavor without being overwhelming. The bill was a bit higher than I expected but I didn't mind because both the food and service were of highest quality. Will absolutely come back and look forward to trying their dim sum dishes.

Worst customer service. Food is hit or miss. They have good flavor except for the time I got beef with broccoli which it definitely went bad because it have a sour taste in the meat. The most frustrating is getting my food. I always pick up my food. I don't know what order they put in the food but I waited 1 hour. When I waited for 10-15 minute these 2 guy place an order and got their food before me. I ask the guy who looks like the manager. All he did is look at my order and didn't apologize or give me an update. No management or structure.

The crab dumpling is tasty - the only good thing. Overall, very upsetting experience. The dishes are far below the average of NYC Chinese food and far away from authentic. Not worth $$ price at all -> 1 star from the true perspective of an eater from Shanghai.

The lunch menu is reasonably priced with a lot of options. I ordered the braised pork and found it to be perfectly cooked and flavorful. I would not get the hot and sour soup though as I found it too spicy for my taste.
