If you want REAL French cuisine, please come here!It is a total package of having a wonderful dining experience! The waiter was polite and totally professional. The food was Tres manifque! Perfectly done Croque mousior, and before that I had French Onion soup. Covered in toasted gueurye cheese ? the onions were perfectly cooked and not tough. They are handicapped accessible. The interior is charming without being chitchy. Also there is outside seating.

I finally found a good Croque Monsieur in New York, not an easy task. The secret is spreading mustard on both inside faces of the bread before cooking. They do not do it systematically (they will when enough diners ask for it), but they oblige if you request it. Also, I prefer my croques darker and more gratinated. I forgot to ask, but the one I had yesterday was thick, juicy with cheese, and overall very good. The escargos were tempting, I just had no room for both, but they smelled delicious , were served in the shell with the right pliers, and did not seem over-frozen as in most cases here. Definitely worth more visits.

Very nice French Bistro food! Enjoyed it thoroughly. The French onion soup was so flavorful, from the cheese to the excellent broth! The Escargot was so garlicky & delicious. The Hanger steak was cooked to order and the chicken w mushrooms and tarragon au jus was very flavorful and tender. Chocolate mousse is very dense! I would suggest a Creme Brulee dish instead of a ramekin would be better for a larger area of the caramelized sugar, but the custard was very good.

The boss was mean. I would never eat here. A tip, if you are not open to vegan options, be a little extra nice, or at least full of ego.

I dine at this restaurant at least once a month. I feel as though I'm in France. The food is delicious and the service is very friendly. I'm especially in love with the skate dish ( la raie). The combination of flavors with the fish, mushrooms, capers and cous-cous and balsamic glaze js heavenly. The apple tart (tarte tatin) is “to die for”.

We’ve been coming to this restaurant for over 25+ years, since they were located in SoHo. You can expect classic French food that are authentic and straightforward.Foie gras was just amazing and mussels w fries are packed with flavor of wine and garlic. We always order the skate dish and steak au poivre. Scallop dish was on point tonight. Branzino special came with quinoa and it was delicious.Only disappointing dish was the dessert. Apple tartin w ice cream was mushy and not so great. Cappuccino was good.Staff are friendly and service is very good.

Have eaten several times. Generally, very satisfied. However, today had the steak frites - it was good, but not up to steak house quality. To be fair, it may have been the cut (type) of meat. I assume, from its shape that it was a strip steak or a sirloin. Whatever cut, it didn't have the flavor of a good steak house cut. This may just be, in part, a reflection of the fact I usually opt for a rib steak or filet mignon and get it flame broiled. The fries were excellent as were the other courses.

The atmosphere is lovely. A quiet venue so you can talk. The French red wine list is small, but all of the choices are outstanding! And that's from someone with a Chateau in Bordeaux.

Very enjoyable bistro. Had lunch there. Comfortable and good menu. Omelet is a bit thick - and filling wasn't hot enough, but didn't have time to ask for it to be reheated. It looked like others' meals were much more interesting anyway and I would order something different next time. Fries were good!
