Came all the way only to find out it’s takeout only with no reasons giving.

Before I went, I reviewed Yelp! ratings and it appeared decent. I ordered beef stew with daikon which is not on the menu for almost $30, per recommendation by the front desk lady. They only have takeout. However, when I opened the small rectangular box, to my surprise, it was watery AND half full. Seriously half full. After finishing up, I was still hungry. The same lady had also told me that there would be pretty food. No, liar! I will Never go to this place again. Don't waste your hard earned money in this restaurant!

This food is authentic and amazing. We order from here regularly. The pea shoots (bean sprouts on the menu), salt and pepper pork ribs, and chicken broccoli are favorites.

This place had really weird vibes. The only indicator that you are at the right place is a piece of paper taped to the door of another restaurant. My chicken did not look like it was cooked all the way, TBD if I will be getting sick. The rice and sauce were good, but if you are going to get Chinese you're better off going somewhere else.

be warned - not available for sit in, only take out, and they won’t say why… feels highly suspect.

Great dumplings. Amazing customer service. Friendly staff. I am greeted with a smile and given recommendations based on if I like spicy foods or not. Would recommend.

Awesome place to be at. The waiter was bilingual (trilingual if you count dialects). The food was very authentic that I could not stop eating. I got got thirds of the Szechuan chicken although it was spicy to a person with no spice tolerance. The atmosphere gave a very homey vibe as there was a lot of cushioned chairs. I would recommend this place to try out Chinese food and to be with friends!

I went looking for this place after seeing the reviews on Yelp. I found a place whose address matched. A large sign reading St. George Tavern was outside hanging over the entrance, and there was a piece of paper taped to the door reading Jiangnan Chinese restaurant. I went inside and was immediately struck by the interior. It looked like it was still a tavern, all wood, and a really cool looking long bar in the back. I imagined that this is what it looked like when it first started as a tavern. I didn't see any other people so I started to walk to the bar area. A voice behind me said "you can't be in here." I turned and a woman in a security guard uniform approached. She had been sitting there in the dark and I had had no idea anyone was there. I asked if I were in the right place for the restaurant as it didn't seem like I was. She told me it wasn't a restaurant. So then I asked if she might know where the Chinese restaurant was because I had the right address. She said she didn't know. Then a group of people come down the stairs that were off to my left and go to the bar. She didn't stop them. That's when I asked her why there was a piece of paper on the door outside saying this was the restaurant. Then she looked down to the bar area and changed up the story - the restaurant wasn't open yet. At this point I thought I'd entered the twighlight zone and just left. What a weird experience. I have no idea how the food is. Won't be back.

Food is pretty good. Nothing special in terms of ambiance, seems to be under construction. The reason why I will never return is because the security guard at the entrance is extremely RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. I'm not sure what his problem is but he had a BIG ATTITUDE when I was trying to pick up my food.

Very rude services! Was told 15min wait then after an hour, people came in after without reservation got seats, we still had to wait since they don't have seats for 3 people exact yet. they just don't care about customers.

We planned our meal and walked there but even though it said open on yelp it is clearly closed for construction!

The food is great. The service is also very fast. It may be a little bit pricey and the dinner time could be crowded and noisy.

Service was above par and likewise the food. I ordered the Stir fry lamb. This dish is delicious but packs some heat.

Very authentic and delicious Chinese food. The wok skill is great with the chow mein. The best is the spicy crispy fish.

Weird atmosphere for Chinese Restaurant. Ordered the ribs which turned out to be a pork chop cut in pieces.
