A classic no frills diner, they had seating for my group of 5 immediately for 11 AM on a Saturday and was a really good price! I got the Spanish egg white omelette (which I still don't know what exactly was in it other than mushrooms and onions). It came with toast and home fries and although was a little on the oily side, was good and cheap! Quick service and hits the diner food itch.

My first time here today won't be my last. It's one of those classic small and cozy NYC diners that hasn't been renovated in 40 years. But that's part of the charm, complete with its counter stool seats. I ordered the patty melt with turkey. Not really the healthiest substitution, because of the cheese and butter used to grill the rye bread, but it sure was tasty! I ordered a side of broccoli that was a total disappointment as it was obviously frozen and bizarrely rubbery. Lemon/ginger tea was a nice accompaniment. Upon leaving I heard my name called and looked to see it was one of my pickleball pals who also lives nearby. I suppose most of their clientele live nearby which add a nice sense of community.

Jos Jr. takes me way back when I was a child working with my father. Staff is friendly and the food is what you need at that moment. Whenever I am in the neighborhood, this is where I eat.

I absolutely love Joe Jr!!! Can’t live without it. Wake up every morning ready for their perfect omelette (ham cheddar onions is my go-to right now—but really any of them) home fries and buttery toast. Amazing banana chocolate chip pancakes.Joe Jr feels like home, it’s an essential part of the neighborhood and the guys who run the show there every day are the best! So sweet and work together so well—they keep up a crazy fast pace and always get it right. Long live Joe’s!!

Been coming here for years. One of my favorite places for a delicious burger (one of the best in all of NYC) and my absolute favorite for weekend brunch.

Great classic restaurant. Big menu and reasonable prices. Service was prompt and friendly, felt like family or a regular right away. Had BLT since I didn’t want a heavy meal and it was just right.

This is supposedly the best burger in NYC. We ordered medium rare and got them almost well done. The place is a small old diner where cold air blows in each time someone opens tje door. No wine or loquor. Only soda and beer. Large portions, good burger.

They took literally over 1.5 hours to make all of my food, they just kept saying it was almost ready and meanwhile I'm wondering how long it could possibly take to make some mashed potatoes. At the end the food was just OK too, not anything amazing.

Classic diner vibes with good food and quick service. The burger is so tender and juicy with toasted buns and the fries are perfectly crispy. Perfectly simple.

Classic diner with a surprisingly good burger. Great for breakfast but also a great dinner or lunch option given quality of the burger

So 10/10 really good it's small inside but it's super cozy like in the old US diners there's no wait really it's too good we got two for $55 which is reasonable (2 burgers + 1 plate of onion rings + 2 drinks)
