Came here for the soup dumplings. Food was decent - they're better than average soup dumplings. Couple of notes before arriving: 1. they are cash only 2. the tip (@18%) is added to the bill as a service fee - I'm never a fan of this practice, especially when the wait staff doesn't point it out.

The soup dumplings were flavorless but the pancake scallions were good. The only flavor I tasted came from the sauces. This restaurant is very gentrified and the target population seems to be white people.

I tried this restaurant as my coworker recommended it as he’s “favorite Chinese restaurant in NYC”, and I can definitely see why.
I ordered it for delivery to my hotel and the food was still steaming hot and well packaged to avoid spills.
The green beans and beef had a delicious sauce and the pork soup dumplings were encased in the most chewy and flavorful dough.
I was surprised that they included a warm sweet sesame ball with a flakey pastry.
All in all it was a great experience especially for a delivery experience.

I just want to say this I think about this place often. I no longer live in NYC but I used to come here all the time for soup dumplings. I haven't been in awhile but those soup dumplings were so amazing I think about this place all the time. No where near me sells them. I miss this place. Come here and have soup dumplings.
