Food was good but service was ackward. They are very untrustworthy. Hovering all up on you when you pay. Also cash only is a huge turn off. And they also mandatory add 18% tip to the bill. To many turn offs. I dont recommend this place. Def over rated.

This place has always been my go to when i have out of town friends visiting nyc

I was extremely disappointed with the service during our visit. I came with a group of five people, including a baby. Although our food arrived quickly, no one checked on us even once afterward, and the staff’s demeanor toward our table felt cold and unwelcoming.
One of the first issues was a soup spoon that was visibly dirty, with a stain still on it. That immediately raised concerns about cleanliness.
When we were ready to leave, a server with a birthmark on his arm came to clear our table. My boyfriend politely asked for to-go boxes so we could take the rice and broccoli home. Instead of acknowledging him, the server ignored the request entirely — no response, no confirmation. When he asked again, he was ignored once more.
As the server began stacking dirty plates and lifting the food we wanted to take home, my boyfriend clarified that we wanted those items boxed. The server cut him off and responded with “I know, I know,” in a dismissive and irritated tone. If he knew, then the lack of communication and attitude made no sense.
When the food was finally boxed and returned, there was no courtesy shown — no “have a good night,” no acknowledgment at all. However, as we were leaving, we observed the same server being friendly, talkative, and warm with nearby white customers, including wishing them a good night.
That contrast was uncomfortable and disappointing. We were respectful, quiet, and paid customers, yet we were treated as if we were an inconvenience. This experience made it clear that we were not welcomed, and I will not be returning. I’ll be spending my money somewhere that treats all customers with basic respect.
