Lovely experience, great staff and nice food. It was my first ever visit to an American diner style venue and I really enjoyed it. Eggs Benedict were a real treat (glad to see that the bacon wasn't fatty at all!). I'd recommend

Nominated as one of the best diners in New York! The food here is excellent, and it's one of the most practical spots for a quick and satisfying lunch. The service is top-notch—I was seated at the bar and really enjoyed watching the kitchen in action. Prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality you get. A bit of a hidden gem to be honest. Not easy to spot if you just walk by but food is great (amazing hash browns), service friendly and fast. Prices reasonable.

We stopped by for breakfast, and despite it being busy, there was no wait. The food was delicious, reasonably priced, the service was friendly, and everything came out quickly.

We LOVED John's Coffee Shop... Monte Cristo Benedict, Cannoli Stuffed French Toast and Eggs Benedict, side of cheesy grits with scallions, three coffees and tip $90... Not too long a wait either. New favorite! Would order these items again and again!
