Food here is just basic. I was a little disappointed being that this is a fried chicken spot?? & the chicken was unflavored. The pernil was unflavored as well, which left baffled being that the location of the establishment is in Dykman??? You do get a nice size plate just add salt

John’s Fried Chicken never misses. The chicken is always fresh, crispy, and full of flavor — you can tell it’s made to order every time. The place has that real Dominican feel, with great music, friendly people, and food that reminds you of home.
Only downside is the small seating area — it can fill up quick. But honestly, the food makes up for it. Definitely one of those neighborhood...
