We ordered 30 minutes ahead of time, arrived when it was supposed to be ready. 40 minutes after we arrived, still not ready. Sitting here in the subway station like an idiot. Clearly they didn’t even start the order until we arrived and asked for it. There are zero other orders here. I have no idea what they are doing. Do not ever make the mistake of going here. Would expect better service at a fast food restaurant, much less a place that charges this much. 0/10 don’t waste your money.

I order the Joji Box pretty regularly—about once a month—since I work in the same building. While I used to be completely obsessed with their takeout omakase box, I have to admit the quality has dipped slightly over time. It was incredibly fresh before, and though it’s not quite the same now, I still find myself going back whenever I’m craving sushi. Plus, if you work in the building, you get a 10% discount, which is a nice perk.

Absolutely incredible quality sushi. 60 dollars and waited 35 minutes and I have 0 regrets. Melts in your mouth and incredibly fresh and flavorful. I am half Japanese I'm VERY PICKY about my sushi.. and I 100% approve.
WARNING - Do NOT get the already made ones. The rice will be cold and it won't be as fresh. Honestly they shouldn't even sell the premade packages because for the price, people will complain. I got one while I was waiting for my omasake order and It was very.. average.
The best take out omakase deal in Manhattan. Fresh, delicious, and beautifully crafted.
3rd time here. Reliably the best Takeaway sushi place in the city. Note- you don't have to pick up the premade packages because they take orders and make it fresh for about 30 min wait time. Fish was always on point, the rice ratio and quality are excellent, the packaging is clean and beautiful. Pictured here are the salmon chirasi box, maki flight, and tuna flight. A little pricey for takeaway sushi but if you have Amex, there's usually a dining credit every few months
I received a gift card for Joii Box for my birthday. I love sushi, so I couldn’t wait to try these rare gems of the sea! The fish was fresh and artfully presented! Highly recommended!
Got Maki flight and Hamachi flight to go boxes for $48. The fish was fresh but the rice was hard (probably because of long time being refrigerated), which I find unacceptable give the price point of this sushi.
Ordered on uber eats. This time the fish was fishy the rice was hard and cold as if it was degraded the edamame was very cold and hard inedible. Will not be ordering from here again.
