This was my first time at Joseph's and it is a neighborhood gem. I had a Caesar salad, chicken parmigiana with penne. They were delicious. Perfect portion. Nantia was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend!

Joseph's was a first class experience. Service was impeccable. We brought an old Brunello from our cellar and the waiter painstakingly opened and decanted it. Service was just the right pace. The ambience was soothing. Every bite was delicious. The appetizers were exceptionally good and presentation lovely. While it is a bit higher priced menu, not out of line for NYC prices.

My husband and I needed to eat somewhere downtown where our hotel was, and found Joseph's online and decided to make a reservation. It was a quiet & intimate on Saturday night, and the service was excellent along with the food! He LOVED his fettucine cacio e pepe, and my pasta and meatballs was fantastic as well. Great portion sizes (nothing too huge where it's impossible to finish) and we loved the tartufo for dessert!

We had an unfortunate experience at Joseph's and won't return. Despite having an early reservation, we were forced to sit next to a huge table of extremely LOUD men. These men were literally standing and screaming profanity at each other throughout the meal, all in good 'fun.' Our table of 5 could not even converse. There were other open tables, but our server refused to move us. The broccoli was mushy, our bill contained errors (overcharged), and we suspect we were served a cheaper substitute wine than the one we ordered (it came in a carafe, so we didn't see them pour it). When it came time to pay, they would only split the bill 4 equal ways for 5 people, leading to an awkward moment for our group. We all left disappointed with the food, service, and atmosphere. Never again.
