This place gets one star from me, and that is being generous.
Red flag number one: When I ordered a pepperoni slice, the tall, middle‑aged employee in the backwards hat tried to serve me the oldest, driest slice on display, which looked like it was left over from the previous day.
Red flag number two: When I questioned the quality, he offered to “fix it” by adding cheese on top, but then told me I would have to pay extra for it—so there was no genuine attempt to make it right, just an upsell.
Red flag number three: I switched to a BBQ chicken slice, which was extremely mediocre and absolutely not worth five dollars. I paid in cash, and he still added tax to the slice, then gave me attitude when I asked why he was charging tax on a cash purchase.
At a minimum, the business could show some consideration to cash-paying customers by offering a simple flat price. Overall, between the poor product, questionable customer service, and attitude, this place earns a one-star review from me.

My family and I took a trip to New York in Fall of 2025. We tried about six pizza places. This was our overall favorite. We didn't search online first to see the most highly rated ones. We just walked around and stopped at random ones. I had the plain cheese and the margarita pizza from here. They were super nice, easy to order, the pizza was ready pretty fast, very foldable, not overcooked, I highly recommend it

Truly my favorite place in NYC to people watch while eating a delicious slice of margherita pizza and sipping a Coke. The staff is also always really nice. Find a seat near the window and watch the world go by!

Best pizza in town !
Craving NYC pizza led us to this hidden gem—J’a Pizza!
From the moment we walked in, Mario, the owner, welcomed us with a warm smile and took the time to walk us through their delicious variety of pizza options. We ended up trying the pepperoni and the spinach ricotta slices—both incredibly fresh and flavorful!
His team, Jose and Dembe, were all smiles and offered top-notch customer service—something that’s becoming rare these days. Can’t wait to come back on our next visit!

Majorlyyyy hit or miss. Sometimes a nice moist fat slice, sometimes so dry its absurd. And when its dry its comical how dry. here's my beef patty fried up and cracked in two
