Really good burger, albeit expensive, in a no frills, late night pub.

Judge Roy Bean Public House is a decent spot for a beer. They have a pretty large menu for both taps and bottles / cans. The service is solid. There is decent seating for groups of 2 and 4, with a handful of larger spots (e.g., a table along a wall with 5 bar stools), as well as a very long bar. Prices are fine for NYC and it can be packed but most of the time isn't too bad.

We found this place when Googling 'pub near us'... It's a small, warm and excellent place. I'd say more of an Irish pub just because many of the servers seem to be from Ireland. We ended up eating and drinking there three times during our trip... Great draft beer and whiskey selection. Food was typical pub food - burgers, fries, fish and chips, etc... The service was quick and friendly. We had a great time chatting it up with them.

Not good for allergies.

No nice gluten free options, just plain meat or salad.

This is one of the many places that seems like it used to be an Irish bar and now for some reason it's a "Western" place.

Food was good for non-allergy people

Clean bathrooms

Dietary restrictions: Not many allergy friendly options
No gluten free buns even though it's a burger place (maybe).

Parking: Near parking garages

We had a very bad experience with our waitress and manager. We paid most part of the bill with cash and asked the waitress to print the rest of the bill just with the left amount to pay. Instead she gave us the total of the bill. My husband payed with the card without noticing. So basicly we payed the total bill almost double. The worst part is that we went back a couple hours later. The manager said she couldnt do anything cause the waitress was gone already and that she could call us theh next day to resolve the issue. But she NEVER called. Really disapointing.

Fast service in this typical restaurant. Lunch menu at €14 with one of the 5 daily specials and blond beer. We recommend the pulled pork with house fries or tacos.

Being from West Texas, I'd expect the staff here to be moderately friendly. But apparently we're not locals.
