I’m not into writing reviews but I wanted be sure I did in the hopes that I can help someone out there who makes a big deal about their birthday but needs to do it on a budget, like me. Book your next birthday here. I’m not joking. The bar tenders, DJ and all the staff were so incredibly kind and helped make my night so special. Rory was so responsive and helped me get everything in order for my night. There is no fee or bar minimum, just a small deposit that they sent back to me the day after my party. They also let me rename two of their cocktails and they printed out a little menu I made (photo attached)! Everyone I talked to said they had the best time ever. I can’t say enough nice things about my experience at this bar. Trusting a free party room in NYC is such a risk cause there’s always a catch, whether it be the room isn’t actually “private” or the staff is rude, but this exceeded my expectation. Thank you again!

One of my favorite places in the city to come to on weekdays! Georgio, Jackson, Conor and Conall are the best at the bar! Highly recommended.

I was looking for a place to host my birthday and found Juke Bar from Tik Tok. Firstly, Rory the owner was responsive and accommodating since day one. Really cool guy, thanks again! Jerrick at the door made sure all my guests came in smoothly and we were able to have a whole section in the main space with seating to ourselves. Emily Rose cocktail is GREAT. Music was pretty versatile too with the live DJ. I recommend!!

This place has such a fun vibe! Good music. Cool people. Good drinks. Exactly what I expect from a good East Village bar. I had my birthday in the VIP room and Rory couldn't have been kinder and more accommodating when scheduling and the room was perfect. And shockingly, there was no minimum to reserve whereas other places charge an arm and a leg. Jackson was our bartender and made the perfect drinks and was just a lovely human overall. And when I told him LCD Soundsystem was my favorite band, he put on a bunch of songs which made my birthday PERFECT. 5 stars for this place. Highly recommend.

I booked my birthday party here recently and it was a wonderful experience! Their party planner was super responsive and helpful leading up to the day, and the staff took excellent care of us on the day. Food was great, and drinks were delicious! Highly recommend for a low-cost party in NYC.

I stopped by The Juke Bar recently for a friend-of-a-friend’s birthday, and honestly it was such a cute little spot. The vibe is cozy but lively just the right balance for a celebration without feeling overwhelming.
I tried their lychee martini, which was bright, floral, and sweet without being too syrupy. It had that clean, refreshing taste that makes you want another sip right away. I also had a tequila cranberry simple but solid, and mixed just right so you could still taste the tequila’s kick while getting that tart cranberry finish. Both drinks were well-made, and it shows they pay attention even to the “classic” orders, not just the fancier cocktails.
Overall, it felt like the kind of bar you’d want to return to, whether for another birthday gathering or just a casual night out. Cute atmosphere, good energy, and drinks that actually hit the spot I’d definitely go back.

Although the bartender was friendly he wouldnt turn up the A/C. The bathroom was filled with hateful Epiteths like antisemitism. And the venue isn’t accommodating for disabled folks and wheelchair goers.

I was struggling to find a place in NYC to host a party for 30-ish people that didn't come with a hefty event-space fee or minimum spend. Enter Juke Bar. For just a $100 refundable deposit, I had a space that comfortably fit all my guests, and was able to put up my own decorations. The drinks were tasty, and the staff was helpful, letting me know when we had an hour left in our time slot and even cleaning up my decorations for me. Would totally host here again. Thanks Juke Bar!!
