I was ordering consistently from here for awhile and took a break for about a month. Got my order and the fries are no longer crinkle, but came literally WET and soggy. There was so much water in the container I could POUR it out. Additionally, their cheese sauce now tastes like actually nothing- no flavor, no taste. Not good or bad just completely tastes like nothing. I’m so sad I loved the place

Walk-up window with 2 tables for standing. Burger is solid - is definitely worth visiting again when in the area. Could use more salt on fries.
The BEST!!!!!!!!!! 10/10 every time!!! I’ve tried the Knockout burger and the Thrilla in Manila and they were both amazing.

I've been here a few times now and I'll be back again. Yesterday was the first time I went here sober during the day instead of intoxicated late at night. Every burger here is very good and I love the fries as well. If you're hungry get the double. The burgers can be messy, embrace it.

I could never had thought it would be that special as people wrote about this place. But I took a trip to burger heaven and I wish I could’ve stayed forever. Tried two different burgers from the menu, not because I needed more food. I needed another KO.

Hole in the wall. You get a ticket 🎫 and than you get the smash. It is a good basic smash tasty and juicy and the bun was great. In a city full of excellent smash burgers 🍔 I’m happy I can’t to try the knockout one , but again only if I will be in the neighborhood.

Best burger in NYC. Had 2x Lights Out burger ($11) plus krinkle fries ($4). Two yellow standing tables outside, otherwise takeout only.
Amazing for the price. The KO burger (4/5) was juicy, flavorful, and full of meat - would absolutely get again. Excellent value for the price. There isn't seating except some stand up tables outside.

Literal hole in the wall (no indoor seating, just 2 standing tables outside) but the food is damn good so if you're getting take out it's great. I got the meaty boy double and cheese fries to go and the burger was still hot (not just warm, but hot like it was fresh off the grill) and juicy when I finally got home an hour later so that's pretty efficient packaging. The cheese fries cooled down but what can you do.
The burger was juicy, well seasoned, and flavorful. Very greasy but I don't know how much of that is from the burger and how much is from the bacon (I'd assume mostly from the later but I'd had to go again and get a different burger to confirm). Fries are crinkle cut which aren't my favorite but they were still well cooked, closer to the crispy end of the spectrum without being hard. The cheese fries comes with cheese sauce (typical nacho cheese type sauce), fried shallots, grilled onions, and chipotle mayo. Messy but tasty.
Prices are pretty fair, competitive for the area. Service was very fast too, my order took less than 10 minutes on a Saturday evening. Might be my new favorite smash burger place on the lower east side. I'd definitely go back and try their other menu items some other time. A double is good for me but I'm a huge fat ass so a single might be enough for most regular people
