We ABSOLUTELY loved it. The food was fantastic so delicious especially mama’s bread!! The wines were divine 🍷 🍷 😋 The owner was gracious and the service was awesome- we will be back!!
I stumbled upon this gem and was thoroughly impressed! I knew nothing about African wine before coming here, but it was absolutely delicious. We visited during happy hour and took advantage of the wine and charcuterie combo, which was an incredible value at just $8. We also tried the dukkah slider, which was bursting with flavor—perfectly juicy and seasoned with spices that elevated the dish.

As a South African, I was so very excited to go to a South African restaurant in New York City. Unfortunately, the menu didn't have a large variety of typically South African food. The food was good but not fantastic! The South African wine was fantastic! The service was very slow and we had to ask for a server 3 times, the atmosphere was not great, VERY loud, dark and hot - and restrooms were down a STEEP set of stairs so not accessible for wheelchairs.
