The creamy tonkotsu ramen was cooked perfectly, the pork was just the right amount of tender.

However, the overall dining experience was incredibly rushed and crowded. We were asked for our table immediately after we finished our ramen. Being rushed out of a meal especially when catching up with friends is frustrating and leaves a bad after taste. The food was great but this really dampened the experience.

Spice it up at Kame in Chelsea with a wide of appetizers, ramens, and dons. Kame features a contemporary ramen shack with lots of small bites that goes very well with their selection of drinks. They have ramen broth flavors that you won’t find elsewhere. Add a tender onsen egg with perfectly textured yolk that melts instantly in your mouth for complete satisfaction. Great ambiance and attentive staff. The shishito peppers were some of the best I’ve had, the karaage fried chicken was perfectly crispy and juicy, and the ramen was amazing. The broth was rich and creamy with pork belly that melts in your mouth. They don’t take reservations, so depending on the day and time there might be a wait but it’s definitely worth it.
