Great place for Peruvian for in Manhattan. I actually liked this place way better than Pio Pio very much more authentic the food. The restaurant has a more Peruvian authentic feel to it as well. Lovely staff and great location to have done great Peruvian food and drinks.

We stumbled upon this place tonight. The food was fantastic! We tried the mix sampler ceviche and it was one of the best we’ve had. Carlos gave us the best recommendations. We left in a hurry to catch a show but came back for dessert. Once again, Carlos’ recommendations was on point. I enjoyed the lucuma ice creams tres leches and of course Alfajores!!! Will definitely come back!

The food was amazing, the leche de Tigre ceviche was so good we ordered a second ceviche after finishing the first one, the grilled octopus was delicious and the torta de chocolate was amazing. Our server Jennifer did an awesome job, she was very nice and friendly 1000/10!

The whole visit flowed nicely from start to finish. This place provides appealing visuals. The food here fills a gap in the local culinary scene. I noticed the employees were observant. The overall experience is uplifting.

The food was ok. This is a quantity over quality type of restaurant. I felt I consumed enough sodium for the whole week.

Kausa is a vibrant celebration of Peruvian flavor and hospitality. The parihuela was a bold, soul-warming seafood symphony—spicy, rich, and deeply satisfying. The ceviche de corvina was a masterclass in freshness, with citrus-kissed white fish, sweet potato, and corn dancing in perfect harmony. Loves the cozy yet electric ambiance—especially the cool blue lighting and traditional touches—made it feel like a mini escape. I’ve returned several times, and it’s now my go-to spot for a light dinner and drinks by the bar.
