KazuNori is a fast, straightforward handroll spot. The concept is smart — fresh handrolls served immediately — but the execution felt more assembly line than artisanal.

The rolls felt a bit repetitive in flavor and texture. The rice was warm and well-seasoned, which is a plus. It’s good for a fast, casual sushi fix — just not the kind of place that leaves you craving a return visit.

Sushi here is very good. The atmosphere is not to my liking - extremely dark and cavernous. There are no seats when waiting for take out and the vibe is a bit pretentious. Pricey even for NYC. I recommend ordering out and enjoying at home.
Waited 3 min on a sat night for 1 person (this is a walk in only spot), ill take it!

Got the salmon, squid, scallop & sea bream roll which were all tasty and fresh. The nori was SO crispy and perfectly made. The rice for the last two rolls were piping hot though as I suspect they just made a new batch. Still felt a little hungry so got a sashimi dish, albacore.
