Kebab aur Sharab Reviews
Dear Mr. Mehta,
I am writing to share a concern following two recent visits to your restaurant earlier this week. I want to begin by saying that my husband and I genuinely enjoy Kebab aur Sharab and have consistently recommended it to friends and professional colleagues.
However, during both visits—once on Monday with a friend and again last night with a former board member—I noticed a pattern that gave me pause. On each occasion, my dining companions...read full review
I made a reservation for dinner late on a Sunday evening. My reservation was for a table and the restaurant refused to seat me because they said they do not give tables for party of one. The restaurant was not busy at all and there were at least five empty tables for parties of two. Extremely disappointed they would not honor my reservation.
Butter chicken, goat doori kebab is to die for. Roomali Roti - just had it after ages. No doubt NYC has an Indian restaurant which can compete with the likes of Dum Pukht in India.

Kebab aur Sharab is a halal restaurant with colonial-era decor featuring peacocks and carved wood. The ambiance is stylish and beautiful, providing a comfortable setting whether guests are dressed up or in casual attire. While the appetizer portion sizes could be improved, the food remains delicious, with highly recommended dishes such as Dahi ke Kebab, Sardarji Machi, and Doori Kebab. The Famous Butter Chicken and Old Delhi Korma continue to delight, alongside the impressive Malabar Bone Marrow Pulao. Guests have also enjoyed the tender and smoky Aslam Butter Chicken Tikka, seasonal fried fish paired with fresh chutney, and unique Rose Petal and Paneer Kofta. The Kerala Fish Curry and Bangin’ Baingan are also highly recommended.
Kebab aur Sharab serves alcohol on the premises, and the customer service is warm and welcoming, with some experiences noted as exceptional. A special mention goes to Ramsun, the manager, who has been recognized for his attentiveness and genuine care for guests, making dining experiences seamless and memorable. The chai cake for dessert is a must-try, although some customers feel it may not be worth the price. Despite being slightly pricey, the flavorful dishes and authentic flavors make it worth it. With great service and Indian-inspired drinks, Kebab aur Sharab remains a highly recommended spot for a memorable dining experience reminiscent of Punjab.
