Outstanding place for quality greek food. Do yourself a favor and try this place. Next time I'll be back with my coworkers.

Waste of time. Menu pretty unimaginative and the execution inconsistent at best. Food will come out under seasoned mostly but then bam something super salty and over seasoned like WTF?!? I would try a different place unless you weren't really hungry.

Kefi is a staple of the upper west side. The food served is reliably delicious and fresh. I love going there for dinner, where we split a bunch of delicious mezes (such as the feta and grilled veggies or falafel), and I love their Kefi salad. It also has amazing brunch options too! I always get the Shakshuka, which is full of flavor.

We told them it was our anniversary and they included a bottle of wine with our meal. So thoughtful and special! The food is also authentic and delicious.

Good serving portion, good food, attentive service, and great atmosphere. I really enjoyed it here!

There are so few reasonably priced restaurants in the Lincoln Center area, 60s and 70s, that these days Kefi seems like a good option even though it's more expensive in its new location. Food was fine and very much in the healthful Mediterranean diet mode, especially the lemony bean soup and branzino with roasted vegetables, no starches. Atmosphere is quite pleasant with bar tables near the front and the noise level is modest. If we hadn't had drinks, the tab would have been about $50 pp, Skip the cocktails to get the best deal. You don't want to be sleepy at a concert anyway, do you?

I've had this place bookmarked for a long time and was very disappointed when I finally got a chance to go. First of all they don't serve traditional Greek food. They really shouldn't be listed as Greek. Lamb shank which is one of their signature dishes was not that impressive. No flavor and a watered down tomato juice. Chicken souvlaki had no flavor and was kind of dry. Will not go back.

I actually found this place on yelp and decided to give it a try. I was a little disappointed with their menu, not much of a selection. The food is good but didn't taste authentic. Overall the place is nice and the service is okay.

I've been here a few times, and while sometimes service is much better than other times, the food is consistent - fresh and delicious. Good fish selection for the non-meat eaters. Kefi salad is one of the best around. Lovely wine list. Simple, pleasant room. Always a satisfying experience.

We had delivery to our apartment. The horiatiki is super fresh and the dressing delicious. The grilled vegetables were perfectly seasoned. The chicken was also very tasty. But the winner was the lamb burger! Definitely our go to Greek place in the neighborhood now!

Kefi feels like your grandmother's dining room - perhaps a touch outdated, but warm and inviting all the same. You can sit at the bar, but there are also tables for two or four towards the back. They start the meal with complimentary bread and some olive oil. I really enjoyed the tzatziki, which was a thick and rich greek yogurt with fluffy and warm pita. The keftedes, or fried meatballs, were a little salty, but also quite tasty. That came with even more tzatziki and pita. They have a decent wine list with some Greek and Mediterranean selections.

Kefi is a cozy Mediterranean restaurant. Even though we came around 8:30 on a Friday night, the wait for 2 was 30 minutes for a table. Luckily we snagged bar seats which are full service. The service started out quite slow. It took a while to get menus or water. But once we did, service became more attentive. We opted for 3 appetizers which was a lot of food for 2 people. The grilled octopus was amazing and packed with flavor. The chickpeas were a perfect complement. The keftedes (fried meatballs) were well flavored as well. However they were a little pink on the inside (not the safest for ground meat, especially when pork is involved). Finally we got the mini chicken souvlaki. It came with 3 and the chicken was so tender with fresh tasting tomato and lettuce to go with it.
