Kefi is a staple of the upper west side. The food served is reliably delicious and fresh. I love going there for dinner, where we split a bunch of delicious mezes (such as the feta and grilled veggies or falafel), and I love their Kefi salad. It also has amazing brunch options too! I always get the Shakshuka, which is full of flavor.
There are so few reasonably priced restaurants in the Lincoln Center area, 60s and 70s, that these days Kefi seems like a good option even though it's more expensive in its new location. Food was fine and very much in the healthful Mediterranean diet mode, especially the lemony bean soup and branzino with roasted vegetables, no starches. Please come back! This is ridiculous! Their website says they are open but after driving 2 hours from Long Island i learned that they are in fact closed. Why didn't my d*** a** call instead?? Ugh!! COME BACK!!!!!!!!
