A cozy Christmas Eve dinner.
Came here as the final stop of our NYC food tour and it was a pretty solid choice. We got a bunch of things to try:
Kushi katsu mini combo set (shiitake mushroom, shrimp, beef & asparagus): an okay start, the shiitake was a personal fave.
Grilled whole squid: nice char with a sweet and savory sauce.
Spicy tuna crackers: spicy tuna, crispy rice, avocado, jalapeño, and spicy...

Loving their skewers!!! The scallop skewers and pumpkin skewers are definitely must try🥰 The wagyu hot pot was great as well, which was really comforting especially on a cold winter day☺️
want to give it 5 stars but feel that should be reserved for exceptional dishes, but it was still really nice. I liked the cod roe functioning almost as parmesan.
would return except their menu is a little too catered to the american palette - not a big fan of how many fried options/skewers there are.
