Great experience overall. The food is excellent! Their salmon carpaccio is to die for and the sushi rolls are delicious and fresh. Try the crispy rice with spicy tuna. Omg!!! what a great place for friends to gather, parties , family and friends. Great ambiance and the staff is great. I gave 5 stars overall but our server disappeared and only came by when I grabbed another server for water and a cocktail. As nice as she was she wasn't so attentive. You know....just check in at least once to see if anything else is needed. Other than that, I have no complaints about Koi. It's one of my favorite places!!! I highly recommend!!!

I love Koi but have to say that the "experience for two" was over priced. You might as well get fill meal. The service and ambiance was great.

One of the best service I have had in a very long time in NYC. The food was absolutely incredible and the value was 100% worth it

Amazing food and fantastic service! The Koi crispy rices (tuna, yellowtail and avocado truffle) are a must as well as the Edamame dumplings!

So happy that we stumbled onto Koi! It was wonderful food, Omikase Style Sushi perfectly paired with delicious sake flights. The service was great, and the waitstaff suggestions were spot on. We will definitely dine here again when visiting NYC.

Food was great for all their signature dishes. Went for a surprise birthday dinner and the waitress and floor manager were super attentive to all our needs. Had a table of 6 great noise level and we had no problem hearing each other.

Great experience, staff fully dedicated to provide client satisfaction, all recommendations were right on the spot.

Very disappointing. We were expecting an upscale experience and it definitely fell short. Waiter was completely “unenthused,” and also a bit disheveled/unkempt. The chopsticks were the cheap “pull-apart” wooden ones in paper. Food was mediocre at best. Edamame to start which was luke warm, crispy rice (super cold topping). We had the lobster tail, which was ok, but also was room temp. Northern lights roll which was ok. Bill was $300. Don't mind paying that for a good meal, but it was not really that good. Not horrible, but def not worth returning.

Food is overpriced for the quality. The tuna and salmon sashimi were NOT good, not fresh, gummy, do not recommend. The basic rolls looked like they came out a box. The dragon roll was good but still not worth the price. Service was WEIRD. Not bad but just weird, not attentive but not rude, just strange. I would not recommend spending money here

Still a cool room, still pretty good food, but a little bit of a fallen angel. Last time here this was a buzzy, hip and fabulous restaurant. Now it's kind of sleepy, and while the food was fine, it didn't come with the same flair that I remember. Frankly, maybe not a bad thing -- you can get in and get a table...but I think there are other equally good sushi joints in the city that don't come with the price tag that this once tragically hip (but still priced as tragically hip) spot charges. Service was fabulous, and, as I said, the food was fine...but reiterating, pretty aggressive on the pricing for what it is now. Try the crispy sticky rice with spicy tuna -- house specialty and totally delicious.

I absolutely loved this place. The experience was incredible. Their vegan sundae dessert was 10/10!!! Will be going back next time I'm in the city.

Overall good food. The match martini with mint was delicious, so was their omakase. They were doing a great job at coursing our food and timing it right at the beginning but towards the end they started to slow down. The water guy was phenomenal though! Never had an empty glass!

Went there for a business lunch at 1:30pm. We ordered right away with 2/3 being nigiri omakase. It took over an hour for the food to arrive. We were surprised that the omakase was literally just nigiri with topping. The restaurant was half empty while we were still waiting on our food. The staff was wonderful but they could not give any reason for how long it took or make up for it. The Nigri was fresh and the sushi rice were good but nothing spectacular

Amazing!!! Food was delicious. Servers were knowledgeable and friendly. Overall, a wonderful dining experience!

The service was excellent and the food was ok overall. However, the relationship between quality and price was way out of balance. The bill was over $400 for two people, including food, wine , and dessert. Given the quality of the food (which was not bad), the price should have been half that. This place is not haute cuisine and is not in the same league as some chef-operated or Michelin starred restaurants.
