Decent bowl of ramen but nothing special. Came here with a friend after seeing that a couple friends rated it decently on Beli, but left slightly disappointed. I appreciated that the ramen came with an egg without being extra and the pork was solid, but the broth wasn’t as spicy as I would’ve liked/expected and felt slightly watered down. Not a bad bowl of ramen but feel like there are plenty of other ramen places in Midtown that I’d go for instead.

Just a fair bowl of good flavors but nothing major or remarkable. As every single place in NYC, as long as you seat the waiter jumps on you to ask what to order … well…just take your time though . Good for those looking for a fest and comfy Asian food at W32 st

This ramen spot is one of my go-to places! It’s cozy, welcoming, and the food is always delicious. My favorite dishes are the spicy ramen, gyu don beef, and fried shrimp with mayo — all full of flavor and super satisfying. Whether I’m craving something comforting or just a warm bowl of noodles, this place never lets me down. Definitely a favorite in the neighborhood!

A must Japanese/Korean restaurant to visit while in NYC, I visited this place three times in less than 6 months and the quality was always there on all my dishes. They are open late hours depending on the day.

DON'T EAT HERE (especially! ANYTIME THIS WEEK!)
Friends and I got food poisoning yesterday 10/22/24 and still haven't recovered. We ordered the Koku Ramen off the dinner menu it's the only thing we all ordered in common. I called the restaurant to let them know that we were violently ill and DON totally mishandled the situation! Did not provide a refund, an apology and even accused us of eating elsewhere that could have caused us to have diarrhea. I was awake every hour all night and still feel awful and weak. Save yourself a trip to the doctor! Not worth it.

Koku Ramen is a great spot for ramen! They definitely prioritize smaller parties, so if you’re dining solo or as a couple, you’ll be seated quickly. However, if you’re with a group, you might have to wait a bit longer. The ramen is worth it though—love their broth. Definitely recommend!

The lunch special runs from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM and it will be fulfilling. They gave a lot of noodles. They offer a 10% discount for cash.

Place is small but the food is very tasty. We loved the gyoza with the extra tuille, gave a nice texture. The miso and spicy miso was wonderful in taste.
