Kosaka Reviews
As a native Japanese , I am very picky Sushi eater. Kosaka is checking all the boxes for the top quality Sushi. I have been to so many Michelin star Sushi restaurants. This really is one of the bests if not the best among the star restaurants.
If you want the best in sushi, this is the place. Chef Yoshi is an artist!

Kosaka is a mid-to-high-range omakase sushi restaurant with a dark and intimate atmosphere, recognized as a Michelin star place in the village. The sushi quality is above average, featuring a variety of fish options, including scallop and Chu Toro. Diners describe the fish as delicious and tender, with nothing tasting too fishy. The service is elegant and attentive, with a knowledgeable chef and friendly staff who make diners feel special. The sushi chef is experienced and prepares everything excellently, explaining the dishes and their origins, which enhances the dining experience. The restaurant offers a bar seating area, recommended for an optimal experience, while the tables are spaced far enough apart to provide conversational privacy. Although some portions may be smaller than expected and a few diners suggest a couple more courses, the food quality and service, along with a good sake list, make the price reasonable. The space is chic with dramatic lighting and a gorgeous sushi counter bar. Overall, Kosaka is praised as not only the finest omakase experience in NYC but also one of the finest restaurants in the city, though some diners feel it may not offer three times the value compared to other options.
