I was Xmas shopping in the area and was craving Korean food, bibimbap in particular.

The menu outside was tempting, so I went in.

I ordered seaweed salad and the seafood bibimbap which was delicious, spicy and full of different flavors. I identified tiger shrimp, mussels and squid.
It came in a iron skillet, so it didn't get cold. I loved scraping the bottom for crispy rice.

The portion was so big that I could not finish it.

Service was efficient and extremely friendly.

There were people from all walks of life; tourists, families, groups of friends and couples.

It's a great place for simple and inexpensive Korean - Japanese dishes.

Food is great and very affordable special being at the heart of Manhattan. Too bad we didn't have time to take pictures because we went to town right away!

Me and the wife both got ramen, Tonkotsu and Black garlic Ramen. Let me start by saying the Noodles itself are amazing. Soft but spongy and chewy very satisfying to chew and eat. Food was delicious no doubt about. Services wise the server does move a bit fast and feels a tad rushed but other than that, I would 100% come back and i would recommend it to anyone who wants to try it.

Absolutely not lol. Skewers: Overcooked, oversalted. Unagi/Chicken Teriyaki bowl: Acceptable.

The best part of this place is it's convenient location. Be warned.

The food was good, but there is only one waiter for the entire restaurant. I believe you should hire more staff.

We ordered combo skewers, and turns out the vegetable is so not as good as meat, just order the meat, meat is great

I’ve always enjoy Ramen at Kushi Yaki, The ramen here are so delicious and so filling. The broth that’s incredibly delicious and packed with umami. The noodles had the perfect texture and toppings were fresh and well-balanced plus the soft-boiled egg. If you’re a ramen fan, Kushi Kushi Yaki’s bowl is definitely worth trying!

Didn’t expect much going into the restaurant since our group came here on a whim but I came out being happy with what we ordered. The tonkotsu broth wasn’t too salty and had a good depth of umami flavour. The egg also wasn’t overcooked. One thing to note was that the chashu was a little bit tough. The skewers we ordered were quite pleasant. Though the ribeye was a bit tough, the chicken was juicy and the baby corn wrapped with bacon tasted delicious. I would come here again based on the prices knowing that the food would be quite good.

It may have a simple, austere decor, but the food is very good, large portions, relatively low price compared to the competition on the same street. Asian fusion cuisine. Yakitori is not seen often, so that's an additional advantage. Nice time in koreatown.

Very tasty food with Korean and Japanese cuisine. Very friendly service. The waiters took the time to explain exactly how to eat these exotic dishes.
