Being seated by the bathroom and bar away from the main dining area and everyone else despite having a reservation for a dining table was not something we appreciated. I'm guessing it's because we had shopping bags or because we weren't dressed the part or both? Who knows Otherwise the food and service were excellent
I recently celebrated an anniversary with my girlfriend at Kyma, and the entire experience was amazing from start to finish. Our waitress, Nicole, was fantastic — incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and spot on with her recommendations, especially the caramel espresso martini, which was perfect. For appetizers, we had the crab cakes, which were delicious. Our entrées — the lobster pasta and the lamb chops — were cooked beautifully and full of flavor. We ended the night with baklava and pistachio ice cream, the perfect sweet finish to a great meal. Kyma made our special night even more memorable. Highly recommend!
This is the place for my reunion parties for my friends out of town The greek island vibe in the heart of NY
Loved everything about it even though we were seated 1/2 hr late. Food was delicious. Vibe is clubby and fun. Staff is so attentive with full house. Can't wait to visit again.
Always delicious and appealing meals! Great place to meet friends or impress out of towners!
Great dinner and ambiance. However, I ordered a cake for my friend and they did not bring it. They only brought a cake for me.
We had Amazing service, delicious food, super fun vibes , we came on a Saturday night, they had music playing , and made our special occasion very memorable
Kyma is a consistently excellent restaurant in every way. I am there often with my wife and with friends for both lunch and dinner and it is always a terrific dining experience. The food and service are excellent and the environment is warm and welcoming. The prices are reasonable and the portions are substantial. I come from the Upper East Side and friends come from Staten Island because it is well worth the trip. At this particular visit, our server was Kim and she was wonderful. She was responsive, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and friendly. It was easy to tell that she was an experienced hospitality professional. Thanks, Kim! You were great!
Kyma is my new favorite New York restaurant. The food was so delicious, the service outstanding and the ambience was superb. I highly recommend Kyma!
I came to Kyma for the second time — my first visit a few months ago was amazing, so I was really looking forward to coming back. Unfortunately, this time was very disappointing. From the moment my friend and I walked in, the two hostesses were extremely rude and unpleasant for no reason. They spoke to me aggressively and looked at me with a condescending attitude. Our waitress wasn't much better — she never smiled once during the entire service and kept forgetting things we asked for. The only person who was actually nice and professional was the male waiter who helped us (which honestly should just be the standard). It's really sad to see this kind of behavior in such a nice and fun place. The atmosphere and food are great, but the service completely ruined the experience this time.

I am a Greek/American and the food was delicious! I am picky when it comes to eating Greek food out! We will be back and make sure our dinner is later so we can be part of the fun that begins at 9pm!
Way too loud for a dinner. Couldn't even hear myself think. Also 20 person wait just to use the bathroom at dinner time. Ridiculous
This place is insane! The vibes and the music is poppin. The food is so good. Everything tasted so fresh. The bar had great drinks and very kind bartenders.
I had to give this a 3/√-star for atmosphere because there are 2 floors with djs. When we went, we had a large bday party so they sat us downstairs where every other large table had a birthday party as well. The classy family style dinner quickly turns into a rave during your meal and it can be jarring for some. You can't hear anything except for the music and so many folks were standing on their chairs waving their dinner napkins in the air. If you love a noisy and lively dinner, this is perfect for you!

From the table setting to the food presentation, everything impressed. Staff: first-rate. Thorough and skilled. Their meals stand out from others. The menu is priced for daily visits. I'm already thinking about my next order.

We made a reservation through OpenTable for a birthday celebration, but when we arrived, the restaurant was closed. It's extremely disappointing that we were not informed in advance. For such an important occasion, this lack of communication is truly unacceptable.
