Loved that they actually had a variety of vegetarian menu options that weren’t just mushrooms (though the mushroom taco was good too!) I really enjoyed the cauliflower mole taco and the elote starter was perfect.
We’ve been coming to this neighborhood restaurant for years. It use to be one of our favorites. The food was authentic, well priced and plentiful.
Ever since they renovated, the portions are half the size (and more expensive) and it’s just not as fresh. This has been the last few times we went. So disappointing . La Esquina is a charming spot with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The colorful decor adds a nice touch, making it perfect for a casual meal or a night out. The food is impressive; the tacos are flavorful, and the brisket tacos a standout.
