Stopped by last night. Even though they were holding a private event they accommodated us. In my opinion the best Puerto Rican establishment in NYC. James stopped by our table and we immediately were drawn to his passion for our culture. I felt like we were on the Island. Definitely stop by and show love.
The service and the atmosphere in this place never fail to impress me. And while the food is usually spot on. The items on the menu can vary from day to day. The monfongo have been spot on the two times I've visited. The pernil was salty the first time and dry the second time. The tostones were fresh and perfectly cooked. Also, the first time, most desserts were not available. I do really enjoy the atmosphere and the service.
