I dined at La Palapa for my birthday and had the absolute best time. The service was phenomenal, the food and drinks were perfect, everything was above expectations! All of my guests were obsessed with this find and will all be back.

One of my favorite brunch spots to go to. The staff are always kind, the food and drinks are amazing!

As a connoisseur of a great mole--their version is as good and authentic as the mole that i've had in actual Mexico. Like legitimately.

Service was ok. Queso was good. Shrimp tacos were awful. Nice low key place for a large party.

I found this restaurant near St Marks Church where we found a Dia de Los Muertos event ..4 of us are visiting from Los Angeles and we were so surprised to have found a restaurant that the atmosphere was as if we were in a restaurant in our hometown of Mexico. The spices and taste to our food was delicious and on the spot . We did not had to ask for extra salt or pepper to add. The salsas were on the spot delicious and spicy . I had a michelada and it was really good . Overall staff and managers were sweet and friendly. Portions are perfect…. Over all 10/10

I'm afraid I cannot recommend this restaurant. The food was mediocre. Too bad, as it has a festive ambience of bright colors as you might expect from a Mexican restaurant.

The experience here has been like no other. We were grateful to be let in without a reservation as a party of 5. We were sat quickly, and the drinks came even quicker. We got happy hour frozen margs. Our favorites were hibiscus, passionfruit, and watermelon. The vibe inside was so authentic. The decorations were gorgeous; there is so much to look at and so many potential photos to take.

The meals were delicious and well portioned. So flavorful.

La Palapa is definitely a hidden gem. I will be returning to experience more of the menu and this amazing restaurant in total.

Really nice place, cool ambience, the house Margarita with hibiscus was outstanding. Solid Mexican food, did not disappoint. Will definitely be making a return trip.

Great location for a date at the end of a long week. Food was good. Frozen margs were okay. Location was cute tho.

The guacamole was great and I also ordered the quesadilla that had pineapple in it and pulled pork. It was delicious! At 6 in in diameter I thought it was pretty small, but I found it very filling

Nice place, I always respect a restaurant that's been around for years. Food was solid and the place was quiet, so it was nice to bring a group of folks who like to talk there.

Wonderful authentic Mexican food. Superlative service. The desserts are divine! We'll be back!

This place is a jewel in the neighborhood. We had an event here and the food, the service and the overall experience was amazing. Our guests were very happy and it was a memorable occasion. Going there is also a great way to support minority, small business owners.

This was my third time at La Palapa and it's always been amazing. However, this time our server Noah was outstanding. From the time we walked in he was accommodating and got us started with our brunch drinks while we waited for the rest of our party. When our time was up at the end of our meal, he even topped us off! The food is always great and the space was perfect. Make this your go-to brunch spot.

The menu was exciting but the food itself was not. They need some help. The margarita was good and also the calamari. But tacos and enchiladas left much to be desired.
