La Pecora Bianca on the Upper West Side is everything you want in a neighborhood restaurant — welcoming, polished, and consistently excellent.

The La Pecora Bianca in UWS is a popular neighborhood spot for both brunch and dinner. I’d recommend making a reservation, as their service is not the fastest and there may be quite a wait if they’re full.
The atmosphere of this location is lovely, with high ceilings and large windows. When I went a couple of weeks ago, we were lead to the upstairs area, which was also nice and cozy.
I tried the butternut squash ravioli, which was delicious. My clients were happy with their dishes and the atmosphere as well.
The only problem we had was the slow service. Especially since we were upstairs, we had long waits and had to call someone up from downstairs several times—to take our order, as for extra plates, etc. This is a great location especially for when I have visitors, so I hope their service level can improve.
